Developing the glute muscle is something I always recommend to my Sculptra BBL patients. A little effort every week can make a big difference to enhance injection results and gain a perkier bum.

Why working out improves Sculptra BBL Results

Sculptra is a dermal filler that encourages the growth of natural collagen when it's injected under the skin. It improves the contour of the buttock area while providing a subtle lift - but a boost can help amplify results.

By strengthening and toning the glute muscles, you can maximize the effect Sculptra has. Suddenly, a little contour creates a more pronounced curve.

This is especially true since most Sculptra patients are near their ideal weight. Without excess body fat, butts tend to be smaller. Building upon your natural muscle helps add volume to the area, especially when Sculptra is injected on top!

5 easy exercises to do after a Sculptra Butt Lift

These five simple exercises can be done anywhere. Do them a few days a week and you'll get the most from your new Sculptra BBL

1. Squats

When in doubt, squat it out. For optimal form, keep your toes pointing forward and don't let your knees extend past your toes. For maximum booty benefit, you gotta get low.

Remember: You can do squats anywhere, anytime. Rep out a set while brushing your teeth. Have toddlers? Make it a game. Wrap them up like a little burrito, hold them close to your body, and squat it out. They’ll love it 😆. Take the stairs but be sure to squeeze your buns on the way up! Every squat adds up!

2. Lunge Variations

I'm not gonna lie to you, lunges aren't fun. However, there are so many lunge variations (here are 18!) that you won't ever get bored! It's also smart to switch up what style of lunges you're doing. Each type works out different muscles in your butt adding to the overall butt and Sculptra definition.

3. Glute Bridges

My personal fav: glute bridges. These are the perfect exercise for people who can't get low in a squat and want to target 💯 butt. Lay down on your back and bring your feet to a 90° angle. Lift your butt so your knees, belly, and shoulders create a flat line. Remember to squeeze your rump in the process, squeeze, squeeeeeze! Hold at the top for a few seconds, or pulse, then drop down to reset.

To take things up a notch, place a weight on your pelvis to increase resistance - or dare to do them one-legged.

4. Fire Hydrants

Drop down to all fours on your hands and knees. 🐶 Channel your inner doggy spirit because you're making the same motion when they pee on a fire hydrant. Keep your leg at a 90° angle and lift your leg outward. 💦 Trust me, you'll feel the 🔥 in no time. For the most effective results, wear a small workout band or ankle weights.

5. Band Walks

I saved this exercise for last since it requires a small workout band. If you have one, step into it with both legs securing the band a few inches above your knees. The rest sounds easy but it's hard work. Slightly bend your knees and sidestep. As Queen B 🐝 says, to the left, to the left. Alternate sides to equally fire up both sides of your glutes.
